In 2017 a general election was called and David Cameron was voted in as Prime Minister, as part of his manifesto Mr Cameron stated that if the country called for a referendum on leaving the EU community he would not intervene.

Within months, pressure was mounted and David Cameron bowed to to the oppositions call for a referendum and the day was set. The result would send shock-waves through the political establishment, 17.5 Million voted to leave the EU and therefore started the downfall of British Politics. With Immediate effect David Cameron handed back the keys to Downing Street and resigned as prime minister, showing his weakness and lack of commitment to his party.

Theresa May became the only person to stand up and be counted for the leadership of the conservative party and was duly installed as the new Prime Minister and vowed to start negotiations with the EU about the UK’s withdrawal. In the coming weeks article 50 was activated and so the true negotiations could start, but the EU kept rejecting constantly the deals put on the table, and so the pressure from the opposition escalated and the painful demise of British politics started to unfold. After several months of going backwards and forwards to Brussels, every deadline day for The United Kingdom’s withdrawal was extended and still no deal accepted.

Earlier this year Theresa May succumbed and resigned and Boris Johnson was installed as Prime Minister. Boris a staunch leaver from the onset, was determined to get the Brexit process completed once and for all. The next deadline is October 31st, are we likely to have a deal by then sadly the answer looks likely to be no.

With the threat of a no deal Brexit, where does it leave the political establishment, well If I was perfectly honest in a complete mess, and as you look around the house the of commons, find me a suitable candidate to become the next Prime Minister. Lets see what we have.

Boris Johnson

Boris Johnson we already know he is liked by some and hated by others. The one thing that lets Boris down is his compulsion to lie. This weeks ruling by The Supreme Court, Just goes to show how low Boris will go, he even deceived The Queen. In truth although a likeable buffoon, Boris Johnson is an unreliable politician and cannot be trusted.

Jeremy Corbyn

Jeremy Corbyn, well where do you want to start. Jeremy Corbyn cannot accept that he has a problem with Anti-Semetism and racism within his own party, instead he seems to advocate it. Jeremy Corbyn’s policies come straight out of comrade Tony Blair's handbook, in other words spend big and tax the workers in order to recoup the deficits created. Mr Corbyn is all also anti-establishment and shows his contempt for the monarchy by refusing to sing the National Anthem. Last week Mr Corbyn was pictured at a service to remember those who fought during he Battle of Britain open collared and closed mouthed as others sung the National Anthem. This man is a vile narcissist and should be never voted in as prime minister.

So whats left in the house, well there’s the Liberal Democrats they are not sure where there loyalties are remain or stay. The Brexit party fronted by the Cheshire cat that is Nigel Farage, the man who started this fiasco when he fronted the UKIP.

So lets conclude this sad demise of parliament by asking one simple question “Who would you vote for in the next general election?”. Well its a tough one, there is not one party in the House of Commons that could form a majority government at the moment and therefore it is odds on that there will be a hung parliament. One thing that is clear is that the main political parties need to clear out the dirt, and create a cabinet that is fully behind policy and not backstabbers. Currently our seat of Government looks like a kindergarten and not a house of elected members, It is shameful and demeaning, sort it out and do what your constituents voted you in for.
